The Australian Aluminium Council is the peak body representing the aluminium industry in Australia.

The Councils' members include companies operating in bauxite mining, alumina refining, aluminium metal production, semi-fabricated aluminium production and distribution.

Released in June 2008, the latest AAC Sustainability Report sets out to meet the expectations of government and the community to be informed about how the aluminium industry goes about its business. The report provides real data to allow for meaningful measurement of both benefit and impact.
